LOS ANGELES, July 8 — Warner Bros and MGM have confirmed the release date for Alicia Vikander’s Tomb Raider reports Variety.
Fans of the hit video game will have to wait until March 16, 2018, to see Vikander in action as the game’s heroine Lara Croft.
The original Tomb Raider game was released back in 1996 and went on to become one of the most successful video games of that time. Films based on the franchise were released back in 2001 and 2003 and starred Angelina Jolie in the role of Croft.
Vikander’s next projects include a role in the Jason Bourne franchise and The Light Between Oceans opposite Michael Fassbender. — AFP-Relaxnews.
