MILAN, Dec 28 — With the current demand for adult colouring books showing no signs of cooling down, Moleskine is the latest to jump on the proverbial bandwagon.
The popular Italian notebook manufacturer has teamed up once more with award-winning illustrator Carlo Stanga to introduce their first-ever colouring book for adults.
The Wandering City Colouring Book boasts 50 elaborate, imaginative ink cityscapes that include scenes of busy squares, subway and train stations, parks and skyscrapers.
The 96-page colouring book is printed on a sturdy paper stock, which makes colouring smoother — whether applied in the form of coloured pencils, crayons, markers and pastels.
Stanga, who is also an architect, brilliantly blends styles from around the world to create intricate urban labyrinths of plants, animals, human faces and buildings.
This project continues in both content and tone from his book, I Am Milan, which is the first book of the Moleskine series, I Am the City.
According to Amazon.com, The Wandering City Colouring Book will be released on December 30. -MMO.
