Jeremy Irons to return as Alfred in ‘Justice League: Part One’

LOS ANGELES, May 3 — Jeremy Irons has been confirmed to reprise his role as Batman’s loyal butler Alfred in the upcoming Justice League: Part One, reports Collider.

He will be joining Ben Affleck who will be returning as Batman.

However it is not clear if Henry Cavill will be returning as Superman after starring opposite Affleck in the current Batman/Superman offering, Batman vs Superman.

Cast members who are also confirmed to return include Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.

New cast members will include Amber Heard as Mera, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe, although details on Dafoe’s character have not yet been released.

Justice League: Part One will be released in theatres November 17, 2017 with Justice League: Part Two set to follow on June 14, 2019. — AFP-Relaxnews
